Yes! Rentals include private access to the space during your reserved timeframe.

Absolutely. Outside catering is welcome at Joyful Commons.

Yes! Clients are welcome to bring their own beer, wine, and beverages for private events in accordance with Pennsylvania laws and venue guidelines.

Rental inclusions may vary slightly depending on the event type, but generally include:

Kiddo’s Korner is an optional add-on designed to help make gatherings more family-friendly. It includes a curated children’s play setup that can be incorporated into select events, workshops, and gatherings. The set up includes toddler sized table & chairs for 4, padded carpet, shelf filled with toys, and our play kitchen.

Our Pop-Up Bar rental is an optional add-on that provides a stylish and flexible beverage station setup for showers, dinners, networking events, celebrations, and more.

Absolutely! We’d love to show you around. All tours are scheduled by appointment in advance. Contact us to schedule.

Yes! We offer flexible weekday rentals for meetings, workshops, creative sessions, networking events, and smaller gatherings.

Yes. There is parking lot directly across the street from us that is free. We also have 3 reserved spaces in this lot for easier access.

Street parking is readily available around the area. Street parking is free after 4PM during the week, and always on the weekends. If you are visiting during the week day and park on the street, please pay for parking using the Meter Feeder App.

Yes. Our entrance has an ADA approved ramp, and we have 1 bathroom that is wheelchair accessible.

Your time setting up, cleaning up, and resetting the venue are all a part of your rental access times, so please plan accordingly when choosing your booking type. For example, for a 2 hour workshop, you have 2 hours from the time you arrive to the time you leave.

Absolutely. Our booking page is set for recommended event times in most scenarios. If you feel you want something in between, just contact us and we’d be happy to create a custom booking link for you.

Absolutely! We love partnering with businesses, educators, creatives, and community leaders for recurring gatherings and events. Please reach out to us directly so we can set you up with weekly, monthly, or even quarterly discounted partner rates.

Creative rentals are designed for photography sessions, branding shoots, content creation, podcasting, and other studio-style uses of the space. These bookings typically involve expanded use of the venue, furniture styling and movement, lighting considerations, and commercial content production, which differs from the lighter setup and usage needs of standard meetings or collaborative work sessions.

Our pricing is intentionally structured to best support the unique needs of each type of booking while helping us preserve the space for all guests to enjoy.
